I think we had fun while Santa was here December 14, 2019.
We have had 2 new finishers for our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. We are so proud of Andi and Gunner!
We have recently acquired many of Miss Cookson’s school scrapbooks. Many of the the pictures are not labeled. If you had children, went to a North Lyon County school, or were a teacher, please come help us get them labeled.
Nikki (director of the library in Allen) and Katie had a wonderful time at the North Lyon County Elementary School promoting this years Summer Reading Program.
Collecting pop tabs is a way to give back to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Kansas (Topeka). When aluminum pop tabs are sent they are taken to a recycling center. The money then to goes back into the House for general operating expenses. The library is collecting pop tabs to donate! Bring yours in!
Thank you to all that came to see Santa. We had an wonderful morning with all of you!
Any time the USD #251 schools are closed for wintry weather the library will be closed. This also includes ice, blowing snow, blizzard like conditions, and arctic temperatures. This is for the safety of patrons and staff.
