Come join us for our last Summer Reading Program! We will be talking about Making a Better World with Recycling! We will have a recycling discussion and activity. We will also be having a craft to make your own placemat! Come join us at 10 am on July 27th!
On Friday we will have Jenga, Reptangles, and Magic Sand out for anyone to come build. Everything will be set up and ready to start when we open at 1pm. Come build something at the library!
We are excited to be having a visit from the zoo to talk about Zoo Habitats for Summer Reading. We will also have a craft! All of this starting at 10 am on July 20th!
For July 13th, we will have a special presentation by the Americus Police Department. They will be talking about bike safety, road rules, and safety around construction. We will then have a snack with them and make a craft. Please come see this special presentation at 10 am!
Come join us for our first Summer Reading Program. We will start at 10 am on July 6th. We will have a story, “Homes Around the World”. We will also have a house craft. Let’s have an awesome Summer Reading month! We welcome all between birth and Junior High to come!
We will be closed, all day, on July 4th, to celebrate Independence Day! We will reopen on July 5th at 1pm! Have a wonderful and safe 4th of July!
We would like to thank everyone that made the Junior High Night activities happen! Due to the busy May schedule, we will not have Junior High Night. We plan to resume in after school starts again.
Fine Free April 2017
April is fine free month at the Americus Township Library. Fines will be forgiven for bringing in unexpired canned/ non-perishable food items or personal items.Fines will be forgiven on books that have been returned, as follows:

1 can = up to $5
2 cans = up to $10
3 cans = up to $15
Toilet paper, hygiene items, feminine products, dish soap, etc.
Trial size item = up to $2
Full size item = up to $5

All Non-perishable/canned food items and personal items will be donated to the local food pantry.
Anyone else wanting to donate may do so all year long! We are a designated food pantry drop-off location!
