Fine Free Month

Fine Free April 2017

April is fine free month at the Americus Township Library.  Fines will be forgiven for bringing in unexpired canned/ non-perishable food items or personal items.Fines will be forgiven on books that have been returned, as follows:

Non-Perishable/Canned Food Items

1 can = up to $5

2 cans = up to $10

3 cans = up to $15

Personal Items

Toilet paper, hygiene items, feminine products, dish soap, etc.

Trial size item = up to $2

Full size item = up to $5

For any questions or concerns, please be sure to come to the library or call us (620-443-5503).

All Non-perishable/canned food items and personal items will be donated to the local food pantry.

Anyone else wanting to donate may do so all year long!  We are a designated food pantry drop-off location!

Junior High Fun Night

What:  “Fun Night” – Pizza and Games

Who:  Students in Grades 6-8

When:  March 11th, 2017 from 5:30- 8:00 p.m.

Where:  Americus Township Library

Purpose:  To provide a safe atmosphere for our junior high students to socialize.

Please make sure to fill out the March Junior High Night permission slip and have it returned to the library or Americus school by March 8th.

Junior High Dinner and Games

Who:  Students in Grades 6-8
When:  February 18, 2017 from  5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Where:  Americus Library
